I like to say my daughter came to know Energy Balls when she was in my belly. I created them daily and gave some of them to her.
My baby’s energy was participating in the creation of the Energy Balls. I felt her interested and happy, like playing a game with Mommy.
After her birth, as soon as we came home, I chose to create an everyday ritual before sleeping at night. Here it is: I let an Energy Ball be created in between my hands and visualized love, bright Light, support and cleansing energies inside the ball. Then I let the ball merge with my daughter’s body, and with my hands I guided the ball into every part of the body. In the meanwhile, I spoke to my baby, telling her she can release what she wants to, and let every cell be filled with Light and love. I sometimes saw her body shaking a bit, like discharging. She often moved and smiled.
Now that she has grown up a bit (9 months), my daughter often joins her hands to mine and makes them move too, according to my feelings, to form a bigger and stronger ball. When I felt that some part of her needed particular attention, I created a Light ball and offered it as special help to that particular part of her, for example, the teeth pushing out.
What a joyful and fun time it is to be with her every night and to clean and recharge together!

Creating an Energy Ball is a very simple and powerful method. When practiced, it allows the person or people creating it to remember our true being. The Energy Ball connects us to a multi-dimensional perspective, as well as sending a particular wave link for a purpose, such as healing for a place, a group, or a phenomenon.
I personally had very powerful experiences during a Collective Energy Ball for Peace Ceremony, ones that inspired and empowered me. They take place as part of Sacred Musical Singing Circles that I conduct. They have had a profound effect on the people who have attended, and towards where we have directed the Collective Energy Ball.
When Jeff Goldstein comes and leads the creation of a Collective Energy Ball for Peace Ceremony, the singing circle always gets a boost of positive energy!

There are many tools to empower healing within, and in a way, there are none. For me the Energy Ball is beyond that. It is not a tool, it is a space. A space of simplicity and love. Practicing the Energy Ball gives me a Peaceful feeling and an ability to be rooted in Nature, and between heaven and Earth. It has become a natural habit, part of my life. Thank you, Jeff, for this wonderful present, a discovery of another layer of life.

I use Light Balls in many different ways: To Bless the food, I am going to eat so that it will digest and bring all the needed nutrients to my body.
To clean and prepare a room before giving a class. This makes people feel good as soon as they enter the room and enables them to benefit fully from my yoga classes.
To lighten the atmosphere to make it calmer while using public transportation when it is heavy and aggressive. In addition, protect myself from all the pollution coming from the cell phones and laptops that are on.
To clean and thank a place in which I will be in. As soon as I feel aggressiveness, sadness, and fear, in me and
around me, I use Light balls to welcome feeling and then transform the emotion into love, Peace and happiness. And simply, to bring Light and Love at any moment,
anywhere. To facilitate the connection between Earth and all its inhabitants and Heaven, the Universe, Light people.

How often do we get to be playful, imaginative, and have fun while simultaneously creating powerful and positive change in the world around us and beyond? The power of transformation is the very nature of the Energy Ball for Peace Ceremony; a worthwhile and most wonderful exercise!
Creating and sharing an Energy Ball is a simple, fun, and satisfying way to experience the power of connection. It begins
in a rather uncomplicated way, going inward, opening one’s hearts to the Life Force (flow of love) within, bringing focus to that Energy, and simply holding as the Energy strengthens (gaining strength, in fact, from our undivided attention!) Held in the container of our hands, the Energy is concentrated, gains power, and the ball of Energy forms in its own rich substance.
The momentum builds when we share our Energy Ball with another person in the circle. Since the Energy moving through us is in every moment unique, the blending of two such unique Energy Balls creates something entirely new. We truly are creating (from a place of love, no less!) Our Energy Ball recognizes something larger than itself; shifting and accommodating to find alignment in the new and expanded space. This collaboration happens easily and willingly, life longing for itself, and the Energy Ball strengthens and takes on a richer quality. One doesn’t have to believe or not believe that this is taking place. It happens regardless; the nature of Energy is ever moving, seeking likeness and a nurturing field in which to grow.
The strength of the collective Energy Ball, held by all in the circle, practically wills itself out of our hands, filled with Blessing and ready for release beyond the scope of ourselves and into the world, on a mission of its own.

We had a gathering at the All Nations Café one evening in a field in a border zone between Israel and Palestine where we screened a movie about peace activists. Being located here meant we didn’t have electricity, and one of our Palestinian members brought a generator. After a few minutes, we realized the generator wouldn’t work, and the movie couldn’t be shown.
Jeff suggested we do an Energy Ball together, as we did many times before at our gatherings. While we were growing the ball, and sending peaceful Blessings to all the people of the region, the generator coughed and started working. We all enjoyed the film, but more than that, we felt that our collective Energy, through the Energy Ball Ceremony, actually had something to do with bringing electricity back.
Perhaps it could bring peace back as well.

The Energy Ball Ceremony had deep healing vibrations for me. Most of the vibrations I felt focused on many others; however, I also experienced sensations of healing and release within me. It was powerful for me including: forgiveness, letting go, softness and healing sensations. It was all the more powerful and magnified when we merged our personal Energy Balls with each other in the circle. At moments, it felt limitless. I also sensed a glow emanating filled with energy and love.

At the Sulha Peace Project we often ask Jeff to open events with his Energy Ball Ceremony. Palestinians and Israelis arrive, many with hesitation and anxiety about meeting with the other side. Jeff brings the group together for the Ceremony, and leads us into the activity. I tend to be skeptical about this sort of thing, yet each time I participate I am amazed to experience the energy of our hands. Within minutes, by the end of the brief Ceremony, inevitably the group is touched and joyous, as the energy of connection flows through the space. Jeff ’s gentle and buoyant warmth melts people’s shyness and resistance, and we are left with a sense of community, ready to engage in the work of peacemaking.

We went for a Couple Energy Blending Ceremony with Jeff before we got married. Even though Jeff said our energies were well blended before the ceremony we both felt a stronger Energetic connection afterwards.
We got married abroad and then we planned a wedding celebration near home for friends and family. We knew we wanted a ceremony that was Spiritual but not too ‘out there’ so it would not scare our guests. We decided on an Energy Ball Wedding Ceremony which Jeff facilitated. The ceremony was a perfect follow-up on the Couple Ceremony and also perfect for 150 wedding guests.
At the Ceremony, Jeff clearly explained to our guests about the energy that we all have in our hands and introduced them to the Energy Ball. He had everyone form an Energy Ball by themselves before merging into twos, fours and bigger groups. Eventually we made one big energy ball circle. Jeff invited us into the middle of the energy ball and instructed everyone to direct their energy towards us with their hands. Then asked everyone to begin moving towards us until our guests were surrounding the two of us saying Blessings and then picking up the ball up and releasing our Wedding Energy Blessings into the sky.
We felt that the ceremony really brought everyone together and made everyone a part of our Wedding Blessing Ceremony. This emphasized the Spiritual aspect of our marriage without a religious context.
Afterwards, many of our guests told us how much they enjoyed the wedding and how unique it was. We think a big part of our guests’ enjoyment came from the good vibes we created with the energy ball. Our experience of the Energy Ball was uplifting
and happy. The thing we most appreciated about the energy ball on our wedding day was a grounding, peaceful and uplifting energy which was much needed after all the planning.
We practice meditation with the energy ball, always finding it very soothing and relaxing, grounding and uplifting.

Little did I think that I would be helping to compile the Energy Ball for Peace Ceremony Guide, which in reality is a book that brings Understanding, Peace, Love and Life into the world.
I met Jeff Goldstein at a macrobiotic potluck dinner and lecture. After the lecture, he offered to drive me home and during the ride he told me about his work as a Life Coach, Attunement and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Trauma Therapist, and, of course, the Energy Ball.
Being a therapist myself, I was looking for someone to help me get rid of an old trauma of being assaulted that I could not accomplish on my own. Instinctively I knew Jeff was the one that could help me.
The next day I called him to set-up an appointment, and the
rest is history. We became friends and colleagues with a deep understanding of how energy works spiritually, emotionally and physically in the body.
One day at the Spiritual home of our late friend Eliyahu Holley, he told us about the book he was writing on the Energy Ball and that he was looking for someone to read it to and, of course, I volunteered, and that is how I became the editor of this book, and learned all about the Energy Ball and more. I found that it complemented and enhanced what I was doing in my personal life and private practice.
The opportunity to compile the material for this book gave me the opportunity to see Jeff, in his humanness and how he sets an example of someone who truly practices what he preaches while walking his talk! He is truly a very mystical being.
Many thanks to HaShem (God) for bringing Jeff into my life and opening the door to a better knowledge of myself, my Nefesh (soul), and the world we live in and becoming a more attuned helper on the road to Peace, Understanding and Enlightenment in the world.
