Resource Building Exercise
Build your inner healing capacity (your healing vortex) by making a list of “internal, external and mixed resources”.
These are the ways that make you feel better about yourself; that make you feel stronger, happier, healthier, more fulfilled and relaxed.
Examples are: positive and victorious memories, Nature, friends and family, writing, reading, drawing, music, sunshine, animals, being in water, quiet time alone, Somatic Experiencing®, Attunement, the Energy Ball etc.
The more specific you are the better. Going into the details helps to connect the body with the healing resource. This helps the resource to nurture your life.
After you have made your list, go over it often and choose items on it that you don't usually do, be adventurous!
