My trauma is very complex
so I should trust the process and myself
I’m living in the past and stuck in the freeze
for 18 years my trauma memory has become suppressed
I’ll get better one step at a time

My nervous system is overwhelmed
with Attunement and Somatic Experiencing you said you could help
To give myself permission and allow my body to release
to track my body and what it is that I feel
I said I can’t do this, you told me that I can
no one can help me, you told me that you can
Believe in the process and don’t lose hope
you always reassured me and taught me how to cope
You created a safe space which gave me courage to face my fears
with attunement my body memories were finally able to complete
By fostering your genuine empathy helped ease my pain
with somatic experiencing I can now feel my real sensations again
I never thought I would find myself where I am today

Your wisdom enriched my healing journey and put me in the present day I finally saw my strength the strength you saw in me on the very first day
A pure divine being inside and outside your mystical world
always with me in the light helping my frozen energy melt away
